140m nature-inspired concept Pebble challenges geometric yacht design
The latest superyacht concept from Amsterdam-based designer Van Geest Design is the 140-metre motor yacht concept Pebble.Photo: Van Geest DesignThe new concept comes complete with several swimming pools and Jacuzzis and has been designed to offer maximum privacy through its large fore and aft overhangs. Exclusive access to the yacht is possible by helicopter landing via its top upper deck.
Photo: Van Geest DesignThe inspiration for Pebble is, as explained by designer, Peter van Geest, “a pebble has been modelled with time, shaped with water and wind.” This concept has been designed so that it fits seamlessly into its environment that, like a pebble, it has been “sculpted by nature over decades.”
