Antibes Celebrates Yachting a success

Events

Held from the 24th to 25th April, the inaugural Antibes Celebrates Yachting (ACY) event in Port Vauban in Antibes was reportedly a great success, with almost 1,500 visitors participating from all over the world as well as a total of 54 companies. Fifteen yachts also participated in ACY ranging from 20 to 47 metres.

The aim of the event was purely networking, bringing companies whose activities are dedicated to recruitment, training, insurance and communication together with brokers, manufacturers, marinas and security.

In addition to networking opportunities, twelve seminars were also held over the two days, varying from the regulations of activity to piracy on board. A range of different activities were also put on throughout ACY, including a petanque competition and a concluding, informal BBQ.

Organisers state that they are positively surprised by the excellent quality and the level of feedback by participants and visitors, especially considering the event was organised in just two months.
