Antigua Charter Show preview: Passion, one of the finest superyachts available for charter

Travel

An invitation to join superyacht Passion on a short Caribbean cruise, provided the perfect opportunity to experience one of the finest superyachts available for charter, in one of the most popular cruising areas. Passion, a name and a yacht of no modest stature in yachting circles, is a 53m Swedeship, built in 1986. She is beautifully maintained and has been constantly upgraded and refitted by her owners.

Passion's interior exudes a feeling of casual elegance. Her richly grained mahogany panelling is complemented by warmly hued furniture, that is as invitingly comfortable, as it is aesthetically pleasing.

She offers accommodation to 12 guests, and features a master stateroom and VIP cabin on the main deck. The master stateroom is a full beam cabin, with a king size bed and includes his and hers marble sinks, whirlpool bathtub and a separate shower room.

A second full beam VIP stateroom is on the lower deck, and features a king size bed, ensuite with a bathtub and separate shower room.

Perhaps the most unusual room seen on any charter yacht in today's market, is Passion's Upper Salon, that features a gaming and card table, a full bar area, a selection of vintage video arcade games, an air hockey table and a karaoke machine, all surrounded by oversized plush settees.

Passion's main aft deck is the ideal location for al fresco dining at its best, or just for relaxing on her stern seating area. The aft deck also has a large dining table, which comfortably seats 12 guests. Her large sundeck features a Jacuzzi, large sunpads and teak chaise lounges. Large biminis and shade umbrellas provide plenty of shade. There are plenty of toys to keep even the most active charterers fully occupied. The list of toys include as two Novurania tender, Yamaha waverunners, a great Laser sailing dinghy, Kayaks, waterskis, wakeboards, kneeboards, and a water trampoline, as well as Inflatable towable donuts.

Her full beam swim platform creates a magical intersection where Passion meets the sea. Whether boarding by tender, or heading out to play on the waves, access to the water is easy.

For those whose sense of style is uncompromising, Passion fulfills the highest expectations. It was a rare experience to be surrounded by her luxury, and to be indulged by her international crew. Passion, captained by the highly experienced Colin Richardson, is available at a rate of $290,000 per week in the high season, $235.000 low season.
