Fresh from their recent and much talked about appearances at the Monaco and Fort Lauderdale shows, Valquest and Glaze are now to appear together at this year’s Antigua Charter Show taking place from 6 – 11 December.
“The Antigua show is a fantastic event for presenting some of the world’s premium charter yachts,” explains Head of YPI Charter, Fiona Maureso. “This year we have decided to present two very different but very much sought-after charter yachts from our fleet. Launched late 2009 and fresh from her first ever Mediterranean season, Valquest brings all the joy of cruising on a brand new, state-of-the-art sailing yacht, whilst Glaze, herself fresh from a recent refit in Florida, is a stunning motor yacht with lots of space and character and a wealth of extras for charter guests to enjoy.”
The 41-metre (134’) Dubois-designed Fast Cruising Sloop Valquest, comes from custom yacht builder Bloemsma Van Breemen – the family-run shipyard in the Netherlands best known for its outstanding quality of work and attention to detail.
“Her fashionably sleek looks and a head-turning silver metallic hull are equally matched on the inside by a chic modern design with a high quality mahogany and white leather finish throughout,” says Valquest’s YPI Charter Marketing Manager Jacqueline Leigh. “She feels incredibly spacious both inside and on deck and has all the extras required for the more active - or the most laid-back - of cruises.”
Comprising of 4 cabins, Valquest sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably, and a young and vibrant crew of six, headed by Captain Tim Deane, provide a thrilling yet relaxing cruise with the highest level of service and comfort guaranteed.
Valquest is now available for charter with YPI at the following rates: Winter in the Caribbean: From EURO 79,000 per week. Summer in the Mediterranean: From EURO 79,000 per week
One of the must-see yachts at this year’s Fort Lauderdale Show, the 49-metre Glaze, built by Trinity Yachts to ABS class, is fully MCA compliant and accommodates up to 12 guests in five lavish cabins.
“Glaze is an exceptionally comfortable and spacious yacht,” says her YPI Charter Manager Carine Zanotti. “She is equipped with Quantum zero-speed stabilizers for increased steadiness and comfort in any weather, whether at sea or at anchor. In addition to the size of her cabins, the amount of space Glaze offers guests for activities and dining is unbeatable. She has kept all the charm and success of her former incarnation as Lady Michelle and added to it.”
Today Glaze offers charter guests an array of features including panoramic sky lounge, a vast sundeck sporting an enormous sun pad, Jacuzzi and a bar and grill for dining al fresco. A large covered exterior deck also offers shaded and cool dining for 12 guests.
“She also has a large swimming platform at the stern with two staircases leading to the main deck,” says Carine. “And a variety of water toys including wave runners, kayaks, wake board and towables offer guests a wide range of activities and sports.”
Glaze can reach a top speed of 19 knots, cruising comfortably at 15 knots.
“Glaze also benefits from an experienced and international crew of nine,” adds Carine, “led by Captain Duncan Hollowood who will ensure guests get the very best out of their time on board.”
Glaze is now available for charter with YPI at the following rates: Winter in the Caribbean: From US$ 210,000 per week, Summer in the Mediterranean: From EURO 175,000 per week.
