Arethusa by Nereids Yachts

In Greek mythology, Nereids are sea nymphs, friendly and helpful towards sailors. They are the fifty daughters of Nereus and Doris, who often accompany Poseidon. Nereids is also the builder of luxurious yachts in Turkey, who recently launched Arethusa, one of the 50 Nereids.

Arethusa is a 47.08m motoryacht, measuring in just under 500 grt. Built with charter in mind, she offers accomodation for 10 guests. She will be one of the new yachts offered for sale in the Monaco Yacht Show later this week, and is offered by Ocean Independence Cavendish White and Ardell.

Arethusa is powered by twin 2250 HP Caterpillar 3512B engines, and reaches a top speed of 17 knots. She is classed by Bureau Veritas and holds the MCA Code of Practice for Safety of Large Commercial Motor Sailing and Motor Vessels
