Situated on the Atlantic coast of France in La Rochelle, the Atlantic Refit Center (ARC) will complete the refit of the 42.65-metre sailing yacht Sharlou.
Photo: Camper & NicholsonsConstructed by Vitters Shipyard in 2011, the yacht’s Tripp Design Naval Architects exterior will undergo a full repaint while her Rhoades Young interior will undergo major modifications. The refit will see the addition of new AVIT and COM systems on board.

In addition to Sharlou’s refit, ARC has unveiled plans to build a 35-metre high state-of-the-art hangar, which will cover the entirety of its 176-metre dry dock. The La Rochelle-based facility also has a second dry dock of 107-metres, dedicated to the maintenance and refit of yachts and superyachts.
