Australian presence in Auckland

The Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) and Superyacht Australia will have strong presence at the upcoming Auckland International Boat Show and NZ Marine Superyacht Captains Forum.

Superyacht Australia CEO said “With NZ being our closest neighbor and with us both wanting to attract more superyachts down under and away from traditional cruising grounds, it is important for Superyacht Australia to participate in this significant event. It provides the opportunity for Superyacht Australia to listen to the factors involved for captains and owners when making decisions regarding where they will cruise, and allows us to inform captains of the capabilities of the Australian Superyacht industry and the attractiveness of Australia as a cruising destination.”

This is the first of many international boat shows over the coming months at which AIMEX & Superyacht Australia members will have a presence. In the current global environment NZ is an important trading partner for the marine sector.

Australian companies exhibiting and attending the Auckland International Boat Show include Austral Propellers – stand 325, GME, LeisureCat Australia – stand 325a, Lightwave Yachts, Ocean Media, PolyFlex Group, Pyrotek Noise Control, Ronstan International and Seawind Catamarans.

Superyacht Australia Chairman Barry Jenkins will be speaking at the Captains Forum about the Australian Superyacht sector and the Australian International Export Group will have key board members Steve Vincent and Sean Griffin along with Victoria Smith representing them at the official opening cocktail function and exhibiting along with other key members at the show.

New Zealand is one of the main trading partners for the Australian marine sector.
