Awlgrip and Advanced New Technologies (ANT) have committed to sponsoring this year’s Brokers Golf Tournament, which will be held at Cowdray Park in the picturesque setting of West Sussex, on Friday 7th September 2007. The 2007 Brokers Golf Tournament is being organised by Alan Dale from superyacht brokerage house Burgess, “Our first tournament was held in 1999 after a group of us decided we should host a yacht industry golf tournament here in the UK. It’s a perfect event to get people from the industry together for a fun and relaxing day, so I am delighted that we are now in our 8th year.”

Recently the Aqualung Trust has been our beneficiary and we hope to be able to present them with an even larger cheque this year.”
This year’s entrants include insurance companies, shipyards, lawyers, brokers, yacht managers, entertainment and yacht paint suppliers. The day will include a friendly game of golf on the Cowdray Park Golf Course, lunch, a choice between a novelty golf game and clay pigeon shooting, as well as an evening meal.
