The first 35.3-metre Azimut Grande 36 Metri yacht has been launched in Viareggio, Italy. The all-new semi-displacement yacht is the latest in the Azimut Grande line and introduces a revolutionary layout for the shipyard.
The Azimut Grande 36 Metri embodies the DNA of the Azimut Grande line, with innovative design choices that the shipyard say have ‘never been seen before’. She is the first semi-walkaround upper deck that runs on a single level that extends from the stern almost to the tip of the bow. Thanks to this redesigned upper deck, guests onboard can relax at a higher vantage point, from nearly any area of the yacht. 
The Azimut Grande 36 Metri yacht features an interior design by Achille Salvagni, while the exterior styling is penned by the unmistakable hand of Alberto Mancini. A distinctive feature of Grande 36M is layout solutions that can be configured by the owner to ensure freedom in terms of onboard lifestyle.
Some of the novel features of the Azimut Grande 36M yacht include her unique windows in the sky lounge that when open, completely disappear out of view. This eliminates any obstruction and transforms the upper deck into an expansive space to gaze into the horizon.
The Azimut Grande 36M yacht forms part of the Azimut’s Low Emission Yacht range. She uses the synergy between the high-efficiency D2P® Displacement-to-Planing hull, designed by PierLuigi AUSONIO Naval Architecture in conjunction with the yard’s research and development office. 
This paired with the extensive use of carbon fibre, significantly reduces the weight of the superstructure. This makes it possible to reduce CO2 emissions by 15-30 percent, at both slow cruising and high speeds, compared to boats of the same weight and size with a traditional chine hull.
The new Azimut Grande 36 Metri yacht will make her world debut to the public at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022.
