Baglietto’s first launch of the year took place in La Spezia yesterday when the custom 40-metre Baglietto 10232 was lowered into the water for the first time. The raised pilothouse design was commissioned by an American client and first announced in 2018.
The project is a new development from the ground up, with a new platform to fit the sporty design of Horacio Bozzo with its plumb bow shape and accentuated styling features. The semi-displacement aluminium hull is designed for optimum efficiency across a broad speed range and can reach 18 knots under maximum power while maintaining a low noise environment inside the yacht thanks to innovative sound insulation.
The interior of the yacht is the work of Achille Salvagni who collaborated with Baglietto for the first time with this new project.
