The 47.6-metre Project 10228 has been launched by Baglietto at their shipyard in La Spezia, Italy this week. As one of two sister ships to Andiamo and the latest to be launched, Project 10228 is a displacement motor yacht with a traditional hull (T-Line) in steel and an aluminium superstructure. The design is an evolution of Baglietto’s previous 46-metre yacht with large exterior spaces upgraded to include a 140-square-metre sundeck and infinity pool. With her tender and toys on the foredeck, 47 square metres are made available for a beach club. Baglietto Interior Design have designed four staterooms on the lower deck and a master suite on the main deck. All feature floor to ceiling windows and a colour scheme of the walnut, cream, gold and bronze. “This is a yacht that continues our tradition, yet takes advantage of new and innovative solutions which make her unique: the big windows, for instance, foster a perfect harmony between indoor and outdoor areas, with the sundeck as a Baglietto trademark,” says Michele Gavino, Baglietto CEO. “And the new beach club perfectly responds to the customer’s desire for direct access to the sea.”Photo: BagliettoProject 10228 can reach a top speed of 16 knots and cruises at 12 knots through her twin Caterpillar 3512 C engines.
