During the recent Yachts Miami Beach show, Italian shipyard Baglietto unveiled a new explorer line to complement their existing Fast and Open superyacht model lines. The 48m Explorer is set to offer exceptional sea keeping capabilities and has been designed with spending long periods at anchor or underway in mind. According to the shipyard, construction on the project is to commence soon.

Francesco Paszkowski created large and expansive deck spaces which makes mobility for crew and guests considerably easier. The free space also allows for the storage of larger tenders and landing craft; an absolute must-have on today’s explorer-style yachts. An open sundeck area is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing, with layout optins allowing for large sunbeds, a Jacuzzi and a family-friendly dining and bar area.

The 48m Explorer will not only cater to clients’ long distance cruising requirements, but also feature a very comfortable and luxurious interior. A functional layout with generous storage spaces is what guests will be able to expect. A large galley and laundry area is located midships on the main deck, with the full beam master suite taking up much of the bow area. The interior decoration and fittings is left up to the owner, with styles ranging from functional to highly ornate and luxurious.

The first is a semi-open space of 320 square-meters on the main deck, with opening terraces, extendable to 400 square-meters, and with a gym and beach club aft.
