The Baltic sailing yacht Canova in Amsterdam

Canova yacht by Baltic Yachts in AmsterdamSeen here in the Dutch capital this week, the 43-metre sailing yacht Canova was spotted alongside Amsterdam's National Maritime Museum. This unique new composite yacht was launched at Baltic Yachts in Finland earlier this year and is the first sailing superyacht to carry Infiniti Yachts' innovative DSS foil system that is said to improve stability and reduce the yacht's heel angle when underway. This synergy has been achieved through the partnership from naval architects Farr Yacht Design, sail supplier North Sails, DSS developer Infiniti Yachts and Baltic’s team of engineers. Composite engineers Gurit in the UK designed Canova’s complex structure that will provide a solid platform during her long-distance voyages. The minimalist interior onboard is the work of Milanese design studio Micheletti + Partners.
