Baltic Yachts has today announced the signing of a custom 39.62 metre high performance cruising yacht. To date, the company has delivered nine fully custom yachts over 30.48 metres built in carbon composite.
Nauta Design is responsible for the overall styling of the deck and interior design, while Reichel Pugh is responsible for the hull lines. The yacht will have a full carbon sandwich construction and be equipped with a retractable propulsion system and lifting keel.
The Baltic 130 will have a plumb bow and a wide stern combined with a flush deck to fulfill the owner’s wishes as a passionate regatta sailor. The yacht will have an owner forward layout with a saloon, galley and an additional five cabins, two for guests and three for crew.
Nigel Ingram from MCM will be the owner’s representative on the project, with the build set to begin in September and delivery scheduled in summer 2016. This year, Baltic Yachts is also delivering two new builds along with the launch of Nariida, the 32 metre Wally that has been in for a refit this past winter.
