Trinity Yachts, L.L.C. have launched hull T040, the 60m (196ft) steel hulled superyacht Bacarella. Trinity’s T040, started life at 55m but was stretched to 60m in mid-build, was launched on 11 June 2009 at their Gulfport facility. Bacarella's exterior styling is by Bannenberg & Rowell in conjunction with Trinity.
This sleek yacht with its distinctive lines features a full-beam VIP cabin, four double cabins and an exceptionally large Owner’s cabin with a spa bathroom. Bacarella’s interior, built and installed by Metrica, features strongly grained elm panelling with extensive use of limestone, nickel and slate for a Malibu-like vibe.
While dining on board, the owner can choose the elegance of the formal dining area forward of the main salon, which features a dining table, custom designed by Bannenberg & Rowell, or have an alfresco experience on either the beautiful main aft deck or the huge upper aft deck.
Dickie Bannenberg reports that the project was interrupted by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, but Trinity and all the team members picked up the pieces and have produced something really astounding.
As another outstanding example of Trinity’s world class yacht building capability, Bacarella will have an ABS Maltese Cross A-1 Yachting Service, AMS, and MCA Compliant classification. On the technical side, propulsion is from twin Caterpillar 3512B engines. Final fit-out is expected to take approximately three months.
