By Gemma Fottles

Turkish shipyard Basaran is currently working on a new superyacht, project Pttara. The 42.55 metre superyacht focuses on providing a yacht large enough to sail the open seas whilst being compact enough to anchor at the small bays of the Mediterranean.

Both the design and production of the motor yacht has been undertaken by the in house teams at the shipyard, with Serhat Yinanc responsible for the overall design. A key characteristic is a sleek and modern boat with large interior spaces. Large windows are present throughout in order to create a light and fresh atmosphere, as well as provide spectacular views to guests on board.
