Singapore’s new downtown is set to come alive as sail boats pit wit and skills for the first time on the iconic Marina Bay to emerge champion in Bay Challenge, which will take place from 14th – 15th May 2011, in conjunction with Boat Asia 2011. Race organiser, TMX Show Productions, is partnering the Singapore Sailing Federation (SSF) to bring this race to the Bay for the first time. The race is supported by the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore, along with sponsors Keppel, M1 and Tissot. Mr. Tan Wearn Haw, CEO, Singapore Sailing Federation said, “Singapore Sailing’s role is to inject vibrancy into the sailing scene and grow the sport. Making it a viable and self-sustaining ecosystem would be a testament to the value proposition of sailing. So we are happy to sanction the upcoming Bay Challenge and excited to grow Bay Challenge as a key sailing event for Singapore and the region with TMX.” Aiming to attract at least 10,000 spectators over two days, Bay Challenge will be set against Marina Bay’s spectacular skyline which includes Marina Bay Sands, The Arts Science Museum, The Promontory at Marina Bay and Marina Bay Financial Centre, Singapore’s single largest integrated mixed-use development and leading business address. Bay Challenge is envisioned to be a stepping stone to introduce a broader nautical lifestyle to a larger audience. The resulting champion team will walk away with the Challenge trophy and will also have the honour of being crowned the winner of the first-ever Bay Challenge. In actual fact, the average length of the current in-build yachts in Turkey is 49 meters, with many of these yachts being motor yachts and motor-sailors as well as gulets. The company uses raw waste materials and vegetable residues, as well as oils generated from crops that do not compete with the food chain.From Summer 2023, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6046" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut-Benetti Group (Company)">Azimut|Benetti Group</a> will introduce HVOlution to replace the fossil-based fuel currently used by the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/358" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut Yachts (Company)">Azimut</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a> brands.
