Beiderbeck design’s new Private Beach project

The designers at beiderbeck have come up with a new 24-metre motor yacht concept based on the hull shape of a classic trawler vessel that is fitted out with a high specification of luxury amenities. The design is presented as an all-in-one day-cruiser or overnight retreat which the owner can use to entertain his guests in style.

The idea behind the "Private Beach" with its long, open stern and low freeboard is based on the hull shape of trawlers used for prawn fishing,” explains the studio. “We have taken up those principles and paired them with the latest in yacht design ideas. The mobile island makes it possible to take day or evening trips with catering, bar keepers and/or DJs, as well as live music and entertainment of all kinds.

Private Beach comes complete with a 5-metre tender and two double-seater jet skis to make exploring remote coves and beaches surrounding the yacht possible. The stern area equates to over 50 square metres of sunbathing and outdoor lounging space with a fixed bimini providing much-needed relief from the tropical sun. A bathing platform folds out from where guests can board the tender or take the plunge into the refreshing crystal waters.

In terms of performance, Private Beach is fitted with twin 850 kW hybrid marine engines that will allow her to reach up to 27 knots and can manoeuvre under electric power alone at low speeds in zero-emissions mode.
