Benetti delivers first Fast Displacement superyacht

Benetti has delivered the first of Benetti's Fast Displacement series. She will make her world debut at upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2014.

The most distinguishing feature is the new D2P hull designed by Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture Studio and the Azimut|Benetti Research and Development Center. The new hull form make this a highly efficient yacht, being able to cruise long distances at a modest 12-knot cruising speed, whilst maintaining the ability to hit speeds over 20 knots flat out. She is powered by two MTU 12V 4000 M93L engines.

The yacht has been delivered to her owner, who owned an Azimut before. The yacht has a highly customized interior by Redman Whiteley Dixon and the owners own design team.

Inside, you'll find light grey Tay and and slate gray Tabu woods for the flooring, with the decorative elements in a silver lacquer finish.

The yacht is already enjoying her first summer cruise. She was spotted by several of our readers in Portofino last week.
