On Friday 4th of May the Benetti shipyard in Viareggio launched the first Benetti Classic Supreme 132’ superyacht. Designed by Stefano Righini, the first in the series features a contemporary interior to a design of Francois Zuretti.
The technical launch of the motor yacht marks the beginning of a long series of tests and inspections covering the hull, the engines and the on-board systems.
The Classic Supreme 132’ is not just a new model to complete the Benetti Class range; it is also the first model built and outfitted in the Lucca Dockyard, the company’s new 4,200m2 plus facility. Located adjacent to the historic site in Via Coppino, this facility can simultaneously handle production of three superyachts of up to 140 feet, thus effectively doubling the Shipyard’s current production capacity.
