Benetti names new Chief Commercial Officer as it builds new management team

Italian builder Benetti management team continues to take on a new form following the recent appointment of Franco Fusignani as CEO. Benetti has appointed Sebastiano Fanizza as its new Chief Commercial Officer, Nick Bischoff as Country Manager for the Americas and Roberto Corno as Vice President Benetti Sales CIS and East Europe. 

The new appointments are part of the company’s ongoing plan to consolidate the presence of Azimut | Benetti Group in strategic foreign markets. 

Nick Bischoff and Sebastiano FanizzaFanizza, who officially began his new role at Benetti on October 22nd, has been tasked with overseeing the company’s commercial strategy development programme as well as strengthening the brand’s positioning and development activities. He reports directly to Fusignani and will work with Roberto Corno, who was recently appointed Vice President Benetti sales CIS and East Europe in the company’s new sales structure. 

Having previously served as Commercial and Business Development Director at Nautor’s Swan, Fanizza returns to the Azimut | Benetti Group, having previously worked for Azimut Yachts as Sales and Service Director for the EMEA and APAC regions. Together with Benetti’s CEO, they will continue to build up the Benetti management structure.Benetti shipyard in LivornoPhoto: Benetti SpaNick Bischoff, who was appointed Country Manager for the Americas earlier this autumn, has been charged with structuring Benetti’s sales area in North, Central and South Americas, strengthening the brand’s presence and tapping into the development potential in this market. Reporting directly to Fanizza, Bischoff brings years of experience in top commercial and management roles at leading yachting businesses with him.
