On board Benetti's custom-built 69m superyacht Spectre

Built in 2018 by Benetti shipyard, Spectre is a quintessential symbol of Italian-built excellence. She features an exterior design by Giorgio M. Cassetta, interior design by Benetti and naval architecture from Mulder Design. Following her recent win in the category of ‘Displacement yachts between 500 and 1,999 tonnes’ at the World Superyacht Awards which took place only a month after she was awarded the prize for ‘Best Custom Built Yacht’ at the Asia Boating Awards 2019, we take a closer look on board superyacht Spectre. Spectre yacht cruisingPhoto: Benetti YachtsThe design of Spectre draws inspiration from the 1930’s art deco scene in New Orleans to create a modern yet fashionable yacht that is embellished by steel accessories and sculpted glazed surfaces.

After stepping on board, guests are greeted by an illuminated spiral staircase and a cylindrical glass lift capable of accessing all three decks. Fitted with dark wood which is contrasted by her light cream furnishing, Spectre’s interior is bright and airy thanks to large panoramic windows that invite in natural light.

Matching gold-coloured artwork can be found throughout the saloon and dining area, contrasting beautifully with the dark walls. The bar and dining area comfortably accommodate at least 12 guests underneath an elegant chandelier.
