Bering Yachts has secured signatures for two explorer yachts: a 38-metre Bering 125 and a 26.2-metre Bering 80. Both units are scheduled for delivery in 2024 and have been sold to European clients. The latter is already in-build, while construction of the Bering 125 will begin this summer. The larger of the two, the Bering 125, is the yacht builder’s flagship model and offers the best of exploration in a sub-500 GT package. The Bering 125 can cruise for 4,500 nautical miles at 10 knots and reach speeds of up to 13 knots. The Bering 125 can comfortably accommodate as many as 10 guests across five staterooms, comprising a full-beam owner’s area and four ensuite staterooms. She can also carry up to seven crew. Bering Yachts has written comfort and relaxation into every aspect of her design, and this is best felt aft. The Bering 125 has a generous 30 square-metre beach club that is flexible in design, as an owner can install a sauna and wellness centre or use the space for additional tender storage. The slightly smaller but just as potent Bering 80 is said to be the yard’s most popular steel expedition model. The Bering 80 can welcome just as many guests as her larger sister, who’ll be catered for by four crew. The Bering 80 spans four decks and thanks to an 8.1-metre beam, offers plenty of indoor and outdoor living space. Bering Yachts expects her to have a 5,000 nautical mile range when cruising at 8.5 knots. The Bering 80 is also flexible in design and her new owner can customise her according to needs. “With a full order book and significant growth over the past years, Bering Yachts is starting to compete with the major explorer yacht builders in the segment,” Bogdan Gusarev, European Sales Director at Bering Yachts, commented. “Bering is becoming internationally recognised and known for delivering experiences and enabling customers to explore beyond the typical cruising areas.”
