Bhushan Powar Designs has unveiled the designs for a 110-metre superyacht concept, Zion. The new design takes inspiration from nature and more specifically black holes as it attracts eyes with its modern elegance and large protruding glass dome. Bhushan Powar Designs is an award-winning yacht design studio set up in early 2019, that specialises in exterior styling for yachts, product design and architecture. They are based in Goa, India and is one of the first luxury yacht design studios in the country.

Her long flowing lines from bow to stern give her a modern appearance and integrate beauty with functionality. Zion’s unmissable glass dome in the centre, much like a black hole, is the centre of attention. This unique dome provides guests an interrupted 360 degree view of the ocean. 
Photo: Bhushan Powar DesignZion has a large flybridge located on the upper deck that is designed to have the highest visibility and manoeuvrability in all weather conditions. As well as this, the upper deck is home to a 12-metre helipad, which provides guests with the ability to travel at any time. Zion’s helipad is accessible by a glass column elevator that also has access to all of her decks. 
Photo: Bhushan Powar DesignZion is able to accommodate up to 20 guests across 10 luxurious staterooms with a dedicated master suite on the main deck. The master suite has electronically operated sky lounge balconies on either side for the owner’s private use. Zion can also accommodate a crew of 20 onboard. 
Photo: Bhushan Powar DesignThe main deck of Zion has been designed with an open-plan alfresco dining area for guests to enjoy. This is connected to a separate area that houses the large glass-bottomed infinity pool. This area can be accessed by a large hanging bridge that suspends across the two spaces. The infinity pool is also surrounded with large sunpads and comfortable seating for guests to top up their tan.

The beach club is situated aft with a dedicated gym and an open garden space. The beach club can also be converted into an expandable sunbathing space, thanks to her foldout bulwark terraces.
