After announcing the signing of their largest project to date last year, Turkish shipyard Bilgin have been working tirelessly to fully develop the platform according to the owner’s taste and requirements. The latest news coming from Istanbul is that steel cutting is scheduled for March this year, which will lead to a delivery some time in 2019.
Bilgin is currently working on the finalising of the interior arrangement and construction drawings with Towing Tank Testing also scheduled to take place this month.
The 80 metre vessel will be the third Bilgin superyacht for the repeat client and her exterior lines are from the drawing board of Unique Yacht Design. Founded 86 years ago and currently being run by the fifth generation of the same family who established the yard, the company has made substantial investments over the years and now has the capacity to build up to four superyachts simultaneously.
