After the transport operation from Nobiskrug's facility in Kiel began early yesterday morning, the 77.1-metre custom superyacht Black Shark is now stationed at the Nobiskrug shipyard in Rendsburg for the team to begin her outfitting phase. The completed hull was towed by two tugs along the Kiel Canal and the River Eider at a maximum speed of 8 knots, showing off the exterior lines of Winch Design on the water for the first time. 77m Black Shark yacht transportPhoto: Jeff BrownBlack Shark yacht hull transport to Nobiskrug, Rendsberg Photo: Jeff BrownAhead of her scheduled 2021 delivery, more than 1,000 highly-skilled workers who form the Nobiskrug community will have been involved in bringing the Black Shark design by Winch Design and interior designer Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design to life under the management of Imperial. When completed, the new superyacht will sport a matte black and metallic silver hull to mimic the texture of shark skin and a sporty, metallic superstructure colour to complement the mast, which is cleverly designed to look like a shark fin.77m Black Shark yacht transportPhoto: Jeff Brown77m Black Shark yacht transportPhoto: Jeff BrownThe dark exterior colour will wrap all three decks which are specifically designed by Winch to emphasise every single one of her voluminous 2,080 GT. “Having only one level above the main deck allowed us to raise the hull, so we have quite a lot of volume in this part of the boat which is disguised by the long sheer line that runs from bow to stern. Tonnage and volume-wise, she will be bigger than most 77-metre yachts. She will also definitely have a main deck that is much higher than other yachts of her size,” Winch explains.Black Shark yacht hull transport to Nobiskrug, Rendsberg Photo: Jeff Brown

Her detailed and astonishing black hull will certainly impress the world when will come the time of her first official splash into the water. Imperial and its team are proudly building, with the help of our esteemed partner Nobiskrug, the future of superyacht in all its qualities and superb. From now, every day is coming close to the delivery, and it looks very exciting to see the next achievements.”
