Blueprint Marine is delighted to announce the opening of its new superyacht crew training facility in Barcelona, Spain in collaboration with Marina Barcelona 92 (MB’92).
The newly recognised Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Training Centre will provide RYA training in Powerboats and Personal Water Craft (PWC/Jetski) from beginner to instructor level and will also assist yachts with their training and recognition needs for becoming RYA recognised training centres (PWC) themselves.
Blueprint Marine's exciting collaboration with MB’92 makes Barcelona the leading location for superyacht repair and refit, and now also crew training.
Blueprint Marine is proud to have been instrumental in the development of marine training with numerous superyacht clients over the last 5 years, with RYA instructor and crew training and RYA centre development. The opening of the new facility in Barcelona, paired with a Blueprint's UK training centre in Bristol, means Blueprint will be offering a much larger range of professional qualifications over the coming years, starting in 2013 with RYA Powerboat/PWC, STCW95 Emergency First Aid, RYA First Aid and RYA Shore based courses.
Blueprint Marine Principal and Director Chris Eades said “We pride ourselves in developing with the industry and focusing on delivering the most professional and up to date solutions available. Barcelona is an exciting development for us and we thank MB’92 for choosing us as their main collaborator. We can now continue to offer our bespoke services to the Superyacht industry anywhere in the world with the additional benefit of a base location perfectly placed for RYA and MCA training of all levels. Our aim has been and will always be to deliver a training solution that fits the needs of the client and delivers at the highest possible level”.
Pepe García-Aubert, Managing Director of MB’92 comments: “We are delighted with Blueprint and highly value their professionalism. This collaboration will enable us to provide our clients with yet another valuable service while the yachts are in our facilities or in Barcelona area”.
