The Ferretti Group has reinforced it's presence in the Brazilian market, by officially opening a Ferrettigroup Brasil branch. The new production facility, located near Sao Paulo, which opened late 2010, is among the largest in Latin America, with a total area of approximately 145,000 square meters.
The yard is capable of building up to 120 vessels per year, with a maximum length of 83 feet. These yachts are designed entirely to meet the Brazilian market. The yard currently produces 11 models of Ferretti Yachts, two Pershing models and a model of the Bertram brand.
A demonstration of the excellent response of Brazilian customers was seen in the last boat show in Rio de Janeiro (27 April-3 May 2011). It recorded total sales of over EUR 35 million of boats produced in Brazil. After the show there were sales of a Ferretti 730, Ferretti 620 and a Aquariva imported from Italy. Currently negotiations are underway for other major vessels including a 43m CRN and three units of the new Custom Line 100'.
The Ferrettgroup Brasil employs more than 600 employees, with deep technical knowledge in the marine field, gained through over 20 years of collaboration with the Ferretti Group.
