Following the announcement of its new facility takeover in Amsterdam, Royal Huisman’s Huisfit refit division has welcomed the 52-metre Feadship motor yacht Broadwater to its new facility where major conversion works will be carried out to have the yacht transformed by spring 2020.Photo: Royal Huisman
Working together with designer Adam Voorhees, the yacht’s owner will convert Broadwater from a strictly private vessel into a charter-ready superyacht which will also be able to serve as his new home away from home with modern and livable additions to the yacht’s layout. Peter Wilson from MCM will oversee the project on behalf of the owner. Photo: Royal Huisman
Going into detail, Huisfit reports that Broadwater will receive a four-metre extension in the form of a re-styled stern section and repainted in a new colour scheme. A new composite mast section will be built with awnings while the teak decking and furniture on the main and bridge decks will be replaced. Inside, guest and crew areas will be updated with several modifications.
