He has been a key player in the sailing yacht world for two decades and has spent the past 18 years leading the Classic Yachts team at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/124" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Edmiston (Company)">Edmiston</a> in Antibes. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/264914/image/large-48ca8b28964684b1dec2b9b512f7228e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/264914">Much like his father, Mike’s passion for boats began at a young age, where he enjoyed a home education out at sea until the age of 13. After finishing secondary school in 1990, Mike joined his father’s company, Malcolm J. Horsley International, before taking over the business following his father’s untimely death in 1991.The business rose up the ranks and was purchased by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/124" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Edmiston (Company)">Edmiston</a> in 2005, where Mike set up the specialist Classic Yachts team within <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/124" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Edmiston (Company)">Edmiston</a>.
