In this series of articles, we take a look at the best brokerage deals currently on the market, as judged by our very own editors. What, Why, Where and Who will form the basis of the articles. This week, we have taken a closer look at superyacht Sidarta I.
What is on offer?
Sidarta I, a timeless, 38 metre Dutch quality yacht, built at the Haak shipyard, for an experienced owner. Sidarta I shows how the Haak built an exceptionally strong classic yacht with no expense spared. She underwent the most extensive tank testing of her time, ever undertaken for a yacht of this size at the Wageningen Laboratories of the Maritime Research Institute of the Netherlands (MARIN). The yacht is still owned by her original owners. Following a price reduction earlier this week, she is now asking just € 3,400,000.
Why do we think this is such a great deal?
She has a highly flexible six cabin layout, created in warm Honduran Mahogany. Her layout features a library / study at the head of the saloon with adjoining bathroom that can be used for meetings or can open onto the saloon. Alternatively, this multipurpose room can function as an extra guest cabin. French designer Demarchy of Paris was consulted to incorporate the owners wish for a classical décor with a sophisticated choice of materials and layout to produce an interior that is luxurious and elegant, comfortable and functional. Her original interiors have been maintained at extremely high standards, and are in as-new condition.
Where is she right now?
The yacht is currently located in Athens, ready for inspection.
Who to call?
Sidarta I is for sale with Cape4 Yachting, and Van Der Vliet.
