In this series of articles, we take a look at the best brokerage deals currently on the market, as judged by our very own editors. What, Why, Where and Who will form the basis of the articles. This week, we have taken a closer look at the 50 metre superyacht TJ Esperanza.
What is on offer?
The 50 metre superyacht was launched by Amels in 1999. She accommodates up to 12 guests over six staterooms, including a full beam master suite located on the main deck as well as two double staterooms, two twin cabins and one single with Pullman berth. The vessel also provides accommodation for a crew of up to 12.
Esperanza boasts vast deck areas, including a huge sun deck area with a large, modern Jacuzzi, ample U-shaped seating with table, a shaded bar with seating, and a large sun lounging area. Her striking exterior design was created by the renowned Terence Disdale and was built with steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She comes with a great range of toys and tenders, including jet-skis, kayaks and mountain bikes.
Powered by 2 x 1,200hp Cummins engines, she has a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 14 knots with a range in excess of 5500 nm.
Why do we think this is such a great deal?
Operated under MCA and ISM since new, she has been consistently maintained to the highest standards, making her one of the best kept yachts of her type and age on the market. Fresh from an extensive 2014 refit, TJ Esperanza offers the chance to acquire a magnificent timeless pedigree Dutch displacement Superyacht in immaculate condition.
Yacht & Villa International will be displaying the boat at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, where she will be the largest boat on show.
Where is she right now?
T.J. Esperanza is currently taking part in the Cannes Yachting Festival. She is the largest brokerage yacht at the show, which runs till the 14th of September.
