Here we take a look at the What, Why, Where and Who of some of the best brokerage deals currently on the market. This week we explore the 40.8-metre superyacht Okko for sale with Imperial. What is on offer?
Launched by Mondomarine in 2012, Okko was built as part of the Italian yard’s 41-metre series, however, Okko features a slightly modified superstructure and layout which lends her a greater interior volume as compared to her sister ships.Photo: Imperial YachtsBoth her interior and exterior designs come from the drawing boards of Giorgio Vafiadis and her naval-architecture has been designed in-house with Mondomarine. Okko can accommodate up to 12 guests in five staterooms. The layout includes one full-beam master suite on the main deck with a dressing room and en-suite bathroom, two VIP cabins, and two twin cabins each with an additional Pullman bed. Photo: Imperial YachtsHer aluminium semi-displacement hull can reach a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and a cruise speed of 14.5 knots with help from a pair of MTU engines, each with 1457hp. While maintaining a healthy cruise speed, Okko has a range of 3000 nautical miles. Additionally, Okko is ABS certified and has an onboard stabiliser for comfort at sea. Familiar with the limelight, Okko was previously listed as a finalist in the 2013 World Superyacht Awards. Worthy of praise, her onboard features will wow even the most seasoned yachties.Photo: Imperial YachtsLuxury materials travel throughout the yacht, such as high gloss wood, white Onyx stone, chamfer mirrors, Venetian glass, and soft goods procured by the affluent Italian brand, Fendi. Her new owners will find that this tri-deck superyacht is packed full of lounging spaces, sunpads and room to entertain. Her sundeck hosts an onboard BBQ and Jacuzzi - the perfect space to lounge about, bikini-clad of course.Photo: Imperial YachtsAcoustic insulation has been installed to reduce the vibrations and sounds usually associated with cruising at top speeds so her new owners can sleep soundly while they travel the open seas. Photo: Imperial YachtsOkko is flush with toys. Fancy a ride on a Sea-Doo? Okko has two. Seabobs, inflatable paddle boards, water skis, a Jobe Republik Wakeboard? It all comes standard with Okko. Additionally, two tenders, one jet-propelled Castoldi and one SOLAS approved rescue Zodiac Ribo, standby and are ready to ferry Okko’s new owners ashore wherever they may choose to go. Currently, Okko is sunbathing in Varazze, Italy. Additionally, she will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show 2018, on the new Quai Chicane (floating pontoon perpendicular to Quai des Etats-Unis).Photo: Imperial YachtsWho to call?
