Here we take a look at the What, Why, Where and Who of some of the best brokerage deals currently on the market. This week we explore the 32-metre new build project Serenitas II, currently under construction at the Mengi Yay shipyard and offered for sale with Yacht Marine Management & Brokerage.
What is on offer?
Currently in the final stages of construction at the Mengi Yay shipyard in Turkey, the 32-metre superyacht Serenitas II is the second hull in the series designed by the dutch naval architects at Ginton Naval Architects. Her interior is the work of the renowned Guido de Groot, who has created a light and spacious ambiance with the utilisation of light coloured marbles in blue and white combined with grey and blue leathers and white lacquer finishes.
On board she accommodates up to 10 guests on board over a five stateroom layout, consisting of a generous master suite, a VIP cabin and three double cabins. A crew of five are also accommodated for on board.
Why do we think this is such a great deal?
With completion of this brand new superyacht due in under two months time, the RINA classified Serenitas II offers her new owners the opportunity to acquire a new Dutch designed vessel in just a fraction of the waiting time one can usually expect.
Along with her wealth of amenities on board, Serenitas also comes equipped with a 5-metre Evinrude tender and a Seadoo to ensure guests have ample opportunity to explore all the water has to offer. In regards to her performance, she is powered by twin CAT engines providing her with a top speed of 13 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots and a range of 3,600 nm. Her vertical bow results in a very long water line which together with the "short bulb" reduces resistance and fuel consumption substantially. The result is a 100 l/h fuel consumption at 11 knots while running two engines and one generator.
Where is she right now?
Serenitas II is currently under construction in Turkey at the Mengi Yay shipyard in Tuzla under the management of Yacht Marine Management & Brokerage. She is offered at an asking price of €7,900,000.
