The superyacht is a Benetti Classic 121 build from the year 2012. Vaaö features an interior design by Francois Zuretti and her exterior is from the drawing boards of Stefano Righini. Previously commissioned by the Ferrari family, the superyacht has room for 10 guests in five staterooms which include a luxurious owners' master stateroom, two doubles including a VIP and two twin staterooms.
