Brokerage deal of the week: the 40m Princess superyacht Solaris

Written by Gemma Fottles

Here we take a look at the What, Why, Where and Who of some of the best brokerage deals currently on the market. This week we explore the 40.16 metre superyacht Solaris, currently listed for sale with Princess Yachts Monaco.

What is on offer?

Built in 2014 by the British yard Princess Yachts, the 40.16 metre motor yacht Solaris is a tri-deck semi custom vessel with a luxurious custom interior design from the drawing boards of Mark Berryman and exterior styling undertaken by the in-house team at Princess. She is finished in hand-picked oak timber, and is the third hull to come out of the hugely successful M-Class series from Princess.

On board she accommodates up to 12 guests over six generous cabins, including two master suites located on the main deck and upper deck respectively. A crew of eight are also accommodated for on board.

Why do we think this is such a great deal?

Delivered just under two years ago, Solaris is in immaculate condition. She offers owner and guest the opportunity to fully take advantage of many of the most enjoyable aspects of superyachting; voluminous decks, generous and opulent interior spaces; a vast selection of the latest water toys; fold down balconies and state-of-the-art entertainment systems throughout.

In regards to her performance, she is powered by twin MTU 12V4000 engines which provide her with a top speed of 19 knots, a cruising speed of 16 knots, and a range of approximately 1,500 nm at an economic speed of 14 knots.

Where is she right now?

Solaris is currently located in Monaco and is listed at an asking price of £12,800,000.
