What is on offer?
Built by Vitters Shipyard in 2010, the 54.64 metre ketch Marie is a quality Dutch built vessel designed in whole by Hoek Design Naval Architects, with David Easton collaborating with the brand on her interior design. Constructed entirely out of aluminium, she features a 62 metre high mast and a sailing area of 1900 m2.
She accommodates up to eight guests on board over four spacious and comfortable rooms, all with en suite facilities. The master stateroom is particularly impressive, with a California King bed on the portside and sitting area to starboard. This area also features his and hers bathrooms, one with a steam shower and one with a tub, as well as access to a private deckhouse and cockpit from the stateroom. A crew of eight are also accommodated for on board.
Elsewhere inside, she provides a formal dining area seating up to ten, which can be enclosed to ensure maximum privacy for the most sophisticated dining experiences.
Aft of the deckhouse is the large covered cockpit with a cushioned seating area and drink tables inside, and additional seating outside of the cockpit. This spacious area is also used for al fresco dining and can accommodate a large table and chairs for 10 guests. A further space for al fresco dining is found on the foredeck.
Why do we think this is such a great deal?
Traditional craftsmanship and modern technology have contributed to the creation of a fast, comfortable sailing yacht with a light interior and a sophisticated style. Throughout her interiors is a sense of traditional luxury, with nautical paintings, antiques, and actual working cannons noted as just some of her unique features. Furthermore, in her main saloon is a self-playing baby grand piano, incorporating an additional taste of opulence to the area.
Marie was a finalist in the 2011 edition of the prestigious World Superyacht Awards, and has been a regular participant at some of the world’s best regattas, including the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta.
Where is she right now?
Marie is currently located in Palma, where she will participate in the Palma Superyacht Cup in June, after which she is planned to undergo her five year MCA survey. Note that she is not available for sale or charter to U.S. residents whilst in U.S. waters.
