What is on offer ?

Designed by Dubois Naval Architects and built in 2011 by Turquoise Yachts (then Proteksan Turquoise), the 55.4-metre superyacht features an interior design of award-winning studio H2 Yacht Design. She underwent a complete internal refit in 2014 that ensured Turquoise is up to date with all the latest onboard tech as well as a fresh new interior style. Turquoise accommodates up to 12 guests across six spacious cabins, including a luxurious master suite that features it's own private study. A crew of 13 are also accommodated for on board.

Turquoise boasts two powerful Caterpillar 1,500hp engines which, coupled with a Dubois-designed hull, provide her with a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 4500 nautical miles. At a lower cruising speed she achieves an impressive economy of 160 litres per hour at 10 knots.

Turquoise has all of the amenities to meet the desires of her guests. With elegant styling and bespoke furnishings, the interior theme of Turquoise is described as a ‘modern interpretation of art deco’. Across the four decks, guests are able to relax in the expansive Jacuzzi, enjoy the outdoor cinema or entertain in one of the many dining areas on board.

The endless list of toys and facilities include two high-speed jet skis, seabobs, wakeboards, diving equipment, inflatable rises as well as a protected seal pool with a trampoline and slide. Guests can also keep fit during their stay by making use of the onboard gym equipment.

Brokerage deal of the Week: the 55m motor yacht Turquoise

The combined company enhances the scale and scope to continue to drive growth in the increasingly dynamic and competitive satellite communications industry. The cash portion of the purchase price was reduced from $850 million to $551 million after Inmarsat paid a $299 million special dividend to its shareholders in April 2022. The shares issued to the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4064" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Inmarsat plc (Company)">Inmarsat</a> shareholders at the closing represent an aggregate of approximately 37.6 percent of the total shares of Viasat common stock on a fully diluted basis, with no Inmarsat shareholder receiving shares representing 10% or more. In connection with closing of the acquisition on May 30, 2023, Viasat drew down on approximately $1.35 billion of its committed financing package, including a $617 million secured term loan facility and a $733 million unsecured bridge loan. The lower financed amount reflects in part the reduction in the cash component of the purchase price.
