Written by Gemma Fottles

In this series of articles, we take a look at the best brokerage deals currently on the market, as judged by our very own editors. What, Why, Where and Who will form the basis of the articles. This week, we have taken a closer look at the 51m superyacht Ester II.

What is on offer?

Built in 2005 by the Italian shipyard Codecasa, the 50 metre superyacht Ester II features original naval architecture and exterior design by the in-house team at Codecasa, with an interior by Della Role Design. In 2010, she underwent an extensive refit, in which her Juan Pablo Molyneux was responsible for her new luxurious interiors, with exterior design by the renowned Espen Oeino.

She accommodates up to 14 guests over six opulent en-suite cabins, including a full beam master suite located on the main deck, three double cabins and two twin cabins both with Pullman berths. A crew of up to ten are also accommodated for.

Outside, the aft deck boasts two commodious seating areas with coffee tables. Adjoined to the main saloon by sliding doors, she allows guests to experience the best of both indoor and outdoor living.

Why do we think this is such a great deal?

Since her launch in 2005, Ester II has been kept in excellent condition and only owned by private clients. The yacht has 10 sister ships, making her one of the best selling 50 metre superyacht series in the world. Amongst her many attractive features is an elevator spanning all decks, as well as a particularly spacious sun deck with a large Jacuzzi and extensive bathing areas.

She is built to RINA class and is MCA compliant. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines, she has a maximum speed of 17.5 knots, a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a range of 5,000 nm at a speed of 12 knots.
