Palladium Technologies has received orders to supply its SiMON monitoring and alarm systems on Broward Marine’s new 120 Series raised-pilothouse megayachts.
“We are especially proud to continue our close association with Broward Marine, one of the premier American builders of luxury yachts for more than 50 years,” said Michael Blake, president of Palladium Technologies. “These impressive new 120-foot yachts will raise the bar of excellence for the U.S. megayacht industry.”
Palladium’s SiMON system will be monitoring the vessels’ MTU Blue Line engines, Kohler generators, bilges, tanks and doors, and will be interfaced with the Atlas Power Management System. The main SiMON monitoring station, with its five Mimic panels, will be at the helm station in the wheelhouse. Five additional remote-access displays are being mounted in the crew and captain’s quarters.
The new series of aluminum-hull raised-pilothouse yachts was inspired by naval designer Evan Marshall. Hull Number 601 was launched earlier this year, and the 127-foot Hulls 602 and 603 are currently under construction.
