Burgess Marine has announced their partnership with IMS Shipyard 300 & 700. Conveniently located close to Marseille, the IMS facilities are situated in Toulon, France. The IMS 700 Shipyard boasts a 670 tonne travel-lift, and four fully refurbished aircraft hangers capable of taking four 60+ metre superyachts each. One hanger shall be used for painting only, with the others to be utilised as space for refurbishments and storage.
The footprint offers brand new offices, gyms, kitchens and chill out areas for customers and crew alike, with plenty of workspace and ample undercover storage space. The whole facility boasts 77,000m2 of space in total.
Burgess Marine’s partnership allows Burgess to dock ships in the Mediterranean, to work on-board either as the primary-contractor or subcontractor and to excel with the provision of both technical management, aluminium welders and platers and mechanical marine engineers.
