Two days ago the Canados shipyard launched their latest 86 superyacht and within a week a second 86ft motor yacht will be launched. Canados builds flybridge and large open motor yachts between 76 and 120 feet and the 86ft is one of the best ever selling models of the Italian shipyard.
Both yachts feature interior and exterior design by the in-house team of the shipyard, however the interiors of the two 26 metre yachts is completely different. The yachts have a traditional lay-out with a large saloon and dining area on the main deck and four guest cabins and the crew quarters on the lower deck. As the tender is stored in the aft garage, the flybridge offers plenty of space for relaxation.
The first 86 superyacht features a contemporary interior with glossy maple and black-painted ash for the furniture, white-painted parquet, white leather for the sofa and Led spots for the living. A special feature on the flybridge is the multifunction hotplate, consisting of a fryer and a cooker for Japanese food.
The second yacht shows a similar layout but a different décor; glossy maple beautifully blending with natural-painted wengé was chosen for the furniture, travertine for the showers, bamboo in a wengé finishing for the cabin and bathroom floor and leather for the sofas in the living room. The onboard entertainment system is controlled through iPhone/iPad in the main saloon and on the flybridge.
The news of these two launches, the launch of a Canados 116 and another Canados 86 confirms the successful strategy of the shipyard. The two Canados 86 yachts are owned by European owners and will sail in the Mediterranean during the summer.
