The newly acquired Italian shipyard Canados has unveiled a new model to replace their Canados 90 Open series, the new Gladiator 90. The new sport yacht is expected to be launched in the spring of 2017.
Designed as the fastest open yacht in this size available on the market today, three different power packages offer clients the opportunity to achieve top speeds of 33 knots, 48 knots, or 55 knots depending on the drive system and power plant installed. In addition to the yacht’s performance, various layout options are also available with either three or four cabin arrangements. In either setup crew quarters and a galley is located aft, acting as a buffer between guest accomodation and the engine room.
The main deck will feature a saloon with two face-to-face sofas, dining area forward and the wheelhouse will be separated from the rest by a glass panel for more privacy. The one-piece side windows will offer permanent visual contact with the environment while the sliding hard top located right above the saloon will offer a particularly nice feeling when seating in the saloon when temperatures drop.
