During the recent Cannes Yachting Festival, Italian yacht builder Canados presented a range of new models to its yacht line-up. One of these is a new 24-metre luxury yacht named Coliseum designed by Marco Casali.
The concept behind the design was to offer clients a wide range of high-end superyacht amenities within a manageable platform large enough to accommodate up to 10 guests. A comfortable beam of 6.62 metres means guests are presented with a generous interior area and sufficient space for outdoor amenities.
The stern area of the yacht has been divided into two areas where a tender and two Jet Skis area stowed.
Inside, the master suite on main deck benefits from the extra large windows that flank each side of the cabin with an additional forward-facing view through a curved section of glass overlooking the foredeck seating area. Below deck, a further six or eight guests can be accommodated, depending on the client’s chosen layout.
As standard, the 969 will be equipped with twin 1,900 hp engines to deliver a top speed of 26 knots. Alternatively, clients can opt for a more powerful package of two 2,600 hp engines in order to reach a top speed of 30 knots.
