Show organisers cancel METSTRADE 2020 in Amsterdam

Show organisers of the METSTRADE show have cancelled this year's event due to the consequences of the Covid-19 outbreak. METSTRADE 2019Despite the show's venue, RAI Amsterdam, having adapted its facilities to host a safe show, the uncertain worldwide situation means that organisers cannot guarantee a high-quality show in 2020. Instead, the team are pushing ahead with finding virtual alternatives to connect the leisure marine industry in November. The next edition of the METSTRADE Show is confirmed to be on 16-18 November 2021.METSTRADE 2019Niels Klarenbeek, Director Maritime METSTRADE, says: "We have worked towards a safe and successful METSTRADE with great dedication. The cancellation of the METSTRADE 2020 show has been a tough blow for my team and I, but listening to the multiple voices in the industry including the Exhibition Committee, ICOMIA, partners and the stakeholders this is the only right decision we could make. Our team is working together with our partners on different virtual ways to connect the leisure marine industry in these tough times.”METSTRADE 2019
