With a design reminiscent of the 1960’s gentleman’s era, Luca Dini Design has come up with an elegant 22 metre yacht in partnership with Mondomarine engineering. The yacht is to be built on either a steel or lightweight alloy platform at the Itallian shipyard.
The yacht will have four guest cabins, and one cabin for crew. Two layout options are on offer: the first will see the tender hoisted onto main deck aft and leave the stern free to be used as beach club. Another option will be to stow the tender in a garage at the stern and have a cockpit setup above on main deck aft where guests can relax outside.
The steel hulled version is to be fitted with two Volvo D16 MH engines allowing for a top speed of 14 knots. The alloy-hulled version will have two MAN R6-800 engines and take the Kitalpha 22 up to 19 knots. Both these versions will come in at under 300 GT.
