Costruzioni Navali Tigullio – Castagnola shipyard in Lavagna (Ge) Italy, has launched superyacht Andromeda, a 38-metre sailing yacht. The yacht has been designed with a fast hull, huge sail plan, twin rudders and state-of-the-art equipment.
Silverio Della Rosa did the naval architecture and sail plan, Studio Faggioni was used for the structural plan, Nauta Yachts for the interior design while Studio Tecnico Averame supervised the whole project.
The hull is constructed using a wooden composite West System with epoxy fairing and finish. The interiors are modern, sleek and functional: accommodating 10 guests in five cabins and up to eight crew in crew quarters aft.
Andromeda has a pair of MAN 2866 LX40 engines, enabling a maximum speed of 12 knots.
