CCN begins construction on the 37m DOM123

Italian shipyard CCN - Cerri Cantieri Navali has begun construction on the 37.3-metre DOM123. The concept was first revealed earlier this year at the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous and is the first in the new line of DOM superyachts.

CCN The DOM123Photo: Cerri Cantieri NavaliCurrently in-build on speculation, the new superyacht was designed by Stefano Vafiadis to satisfy the desires, needs and lifestyle of a modern and young yacht owner. Inside, she features a flexible layout and can accommodate either four or five staterooms for up to 12 guests on the lower deck. In the case of a five stateroom layout, the main deck will be dedicated to the ownerโ€™s cabin.ย 

CCN The DOM123Photo: Cerri Cantieri NavaliThe semi-displacement hull, tested at the Brodarsky Institute in Zagreb, features a forward bulb design fashioned from aluminium. The DOM123 has an economical cruising speed of 12 knots, ensuring a range of 3,000 nautical miles, and can reach a maximum speed of 21 knots powered by twin MTU 16V2000M96L engines of 1939 kW each.ย
