CCN launches Roberto Cavalli's 27m superyacht Freedom
Italian yard Cerri Cantieri Navali (CCN) has launched the latest hull in its Fuoriserie series, the 27-metre Freedom, which is set to be delivered to her owner, Roberto Cavalli. The famous Italian designer appeared in person for the launch of his new yacht on 13th July 2018. Photo: CCNMr Cavalli designed the fully custom yacht in cooperation with friend and fellow designer Tommaso Spadolini. The aluminium-hulled Freedom is set to reach a top speed of 40 knots, thanks to her three Rolls Royce water-jet marine engines.
Photo: CCNHer owner’s suite sits behind the helm station and will extend across the entire main deck which reportedly features a central skylight. On the lower deck are two guest cabins and crew quarters. Additionally, she will feature a forward tender storage area. Mr Cavalli also designed features into the yacht for enhanced privacy, such as an aft cockpit with floor to ceiling curtains.
