Centouno Navi reveals more details about its lightning-fast 28m motor yacht Forza

Centouno Navi, the new Italian superyacht brand spearheaded by designer Manuela Lucchesi and naval architect Marco Arnaboldi, has revealed more details about its lightning-fast, 28-metre motor yacht Forza.Forza yacht exterior design Forza is set to boast an astounding 60 knots top speed, which will be delivered by a triad of 12V 2,000 horsepower MAN engines coupled with next-generation MJP waterjets. Her hull will be constructed out sandwich composite, making her 30 percent lighter than her competitors and extremely agile. The additional benefit of this weight reduction is less-resistance and a major reduction with CO2 emission, while underway. Forza yacht exterior design The sandwich composite used for the hull will be a mix of carbon and glass fibre with vinylester resin and high-density PVC foam. The result will be a lighter and stronger structure. Her design has paid close attention to the turbulent boundary layer (TBL), to ensure minimal drag and less lift. The shipyard has stated that the combined efficiency of the hull design and propulsion system will mean that with 9,500 litres of fuel, Forza will have a range of 500 nautical miles when cruising at 50 knots. Forza yacht exterior design Centouno Navi is all about respect for the sea,” Manuela Lucchesi, commented. “The design and engineering of Forza is the result of the combined experience of the brand founders, who have lived by the sea and on boats all their lives.”Forza yacht exterior design Marco Anaboldi explains that Forza builds on his legacy in naval architecture, “I’ve been building boats for more than 30 years and I know what owners want. Speed and efficiency are often at the top of the list because it means they can cover more ground in less time, and they can do it with minimal environmental impact.” Forza yacht exterior design This commitment to sustainability will be found throughout Forza, as Centouno Navi has opted for eco-friendly materials for her full-custom interior design. The motor yacht will feature a comfortable saloon that overlooks the main deck, and will be able to accommodate as many as eight guests. Forza has four guest suites, comprising a full-beam master, a VIP and two twins. Forza yacht exterior design Centouno Navi has a second model in the series, the larger 39-metre Eterea which spans three decks and will be equipped with four MAN engines, each coupled with MJP Waterjets. Eterea will be constructed with the same low resistance sandwich composite hull and is expected to reach speeds of 58 knots.  Forza yacht exterior design
